Mr. Murphy currently serves as the President of Quality Engineering & Surveying, LLC where he manages the civil engineering projects and daily operations for QES. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1996 he obtained his Professional Engineering License in 2001. Mr. Murphy has more than eighteen (18) years of experience as a Design and Consulting Engineer. His experience includes design, supervision, and general coordination of sub-consultants for various civil and municipal projects as well as the preparation of detailed construction plans, reports, technical specifications, contract documents, bid packages, cost estimates, hydraulic calculations, and field studies. The types of projects he has been associated with include commercial and retail facilities, new sewer systems, highways, drainage and storm water improvements, water supply systems, pump station design, residential subdivisions, and construction phasing plans
